Mario Pavone

Mario Pavone, founder and president of MP, started moving his first steps into the design world from a young age working closely with his father in Leporano, Italy. After his Master Degree at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, as modern Marco Polo he decided to move to China to deepen his knowledge and understanding of both Chinese culture and language.

Throughout his extensive traveling, he constantly inspires and challenges his team in making a free use of vivid colours, shapes and textures mixing Italian and Chinese elements.

In China, Mario has been leading interior design projects for Hilton, IHG, Tonino Lamborghini, Wyndham, Radisson and has provided consultancy services with extreme professionalism to meet up high-end brand standards. Moreover, he is frequently attending conferences, events and offering lectures on design and hospitality.

Abroad, he presided over many high-end projects such as the King luxury resort in Palau island, Horizon luxury apartment in Pnom Phen (Cambodia), Private luxury Villas in Venice, Trullo resort in Puglia, Alakija private Villa in Nigeria. His driving force is allowing his customers to see themselves in each project and yet experience the true spirit of the MP lifestyle.

In addition to this, Mario is involved in the development and strengthening of the OBOR projects between China and Italy as Vice-President of OpenGate China, a leading Italian association recognized by the Chinese government.
